Why does the support center tell me that a user with my email address already exists? I have not previously created an account.

When you attempt to create a new account for the Support Center, some users will receive a message "A user with [your email address] already exists in our records. Already have an account?"

The Support Center already knows the names and emails of many of our customers. If you are using CHEMCAD and you've already talked to our sales or support team, we probably entered your name and email address into the system already.

If you receive this message when you are first trying to create an account, you are probably already entered as a Support Center user. Please use the Forgot Password? link to reset your password.

When you fill out the Forgot Password form you will receive an email that lets you choose a new password. If you don't receive this email, please contact support and we'll help you.
